Windcharger is one of the Autobots that was aboard the Ark when it crash-landed on Earth in the first episode of the original Transformers cartoon. He wasn't a popular character, having very little screen time. He was killed off in Transformers: The Movie having been killed off-screen when the Decepticons attacked Autobot City. His lifeless body is seen being dragged through a hall by Arcee.
