The Steward (actual name unknown) was a blue-skinned alien who appeared in the Doctor Who episode "The End of the World". He was portrayed by Simon Day.
The Steward was the manager of the Platform One space station and host of the Earth Death event. When the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler came to Platform One, he said they had not been invited. The Doctor used his psychic paper to trick the Steward and he allowed them in. He introduced the guests on Platform One, and made announcements via an intercom.

As Lady Cassandra's spider drones sabotaged Platform One, the Steward attempted to find out the cause of the various malfunctions occurring aboard the station. The cause found him as a metal spider crawled onto his desk and shut down his office's solar filter, allowing the intense rays of the Sun to flood the room and reduce the Steward to ashes.
