Sarek of Vulcan is the father of Spock in the Star Trek franchise and a reknowned ambassador for the United Federation of Planets. He made a number of appearances in both The Original Series and The Next Generation. In the TNG two-part episode "Unification", Sarek succumbed to Bendii Syndrome. He was 203 at the time of his death.
Sarek was portrayed by Mark Lenard in both The Original Series and The Next Generation.
