Martin Blower (portrayed by David Threlfall) was a minor character in Hot Fuzz. A respected solicitor and not-so-respected actor, he invited police officers Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman to attend his theatre group's enactment of the classic Shakespeare play "Romeo & Juliet" after Angel had pulled him over for speeding. The following day, Martin Blower and his fellow actor Eve Draper were found dead on the road where Nicholas had previously encountered them, their heads severed after an apparent traffic collision. Nicholas suspected foul play and his investigation later revealed that Blower and Draper had indeed been murdered by the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance, their bodies chopped up with an axe and staged to appear as an accident. Nicholas suspected that Blower had been murdered for his ties with a large sale of land, but the real reason was merely because he was a terrible actor.
